« on: August 01, 2021, 08:25:46 pm »

HI the paint job is now complete just some work to be done with the brush. Next step varnish all the superstructure which will need a  small amount of masking to complete.

Why are you duplicating this and the masking in addition to your main build thread?

This thread was started to show how I masked my model for some serious paint work to be done. The second thread was to show the final result with the masking removed. I could have just placed all the threads in the Grand Banks build but if you were looking for masking info would you have looked there? I have placed the masking pictures also on my G/B  thread for the followers of this build. I feel the posts in the chit chat section relate to masking no mention of G/B build. Why not have two threads before and after is this a problem?

I'd wondered about the duplicate posts as well but what you're saying makes perfect sense when I think about it.

Hi Ralph thank you for your comments I am was only trying to show the before and after. Lets face it members may look at my first thread and never look again so they would not see the finished result.
