MODELBOATBITS STATUS

Hi, Everyone
Steve here from MODELBOATBITS confirming that we are very much not shutting shop
We have been under a lot of pressure and worry over the past few month's and it has been very difficult to maintain our usual high level of service to our loyal customer's
Firstly having to deal with arranging a family funeral over xmas followed by my wife
going through 3 operation's the most recent being very serious spinal surgery that
could have left her totally paralyzed
Let us assure you all we fully intend to still be trading for several years to come and hope we can all pull together to keep the model boat hobby alive for year's to come
I hope this comes as good news to you all at a time when there is nothing but bad new's on the world front
Yours Sincerely
Steve & Sue

You certainly have been through the mill and by the sound of it come out the other side stronger and looking forwards, so well done, I wish you both well for the future, thank you for all that you do for our hobby.

Model boat suppliers are frequently something of a cottage industry these days being small, family run setups and vulnerable to domestic problems. They are no less valuable for that and customers should make allowances accordingly.
I am retired with no business commitments but, like so many others have been subjected to personal tragedies and stresses which take a lot out of you. Steve and Sue deserve our every support and if that means waiting a bit longer for some orders then accept that with good grace. They provide a much valued and often bespoke service which is not something we would wish to lose.
