I've looked but can't find a supplier for these rigging magnets.Any pointers?

Try searching for magnetic jewelry clasps. All sorts of shapes and finishes.

Thanks Barriew I googled as suggested and found lots to choose from I will get some that look like rigging turnbuckles and see how much they can take on a small yacht.
