I recently made a model of HMS Riplley, using a Ron Deans glass fibre hull at 1/96 scale and used three books 1. Anatomy of the ship_ The Destroyer Campbelton by AI Ross which does have line planes and detailed drawings to build as Campbeltown or as as originally built, Town Class Destroyers a critical assessment by John Henshaw and Destroyers For Great Britain by Arnold Hague. The last one is some really good pics plus history of the 50 transfered to us during WW"2, an was this country seen off by the USA as most were scrapped within 18 months. If you are unable to get any of these books, am willing to let you borrow them for you to get started. Regards David Farrow.

Thats no problem, though I found with my model like the real ones is not that particularly good in turning. But my offer stands anytime you want and would make an interesting subject to watch on mayhem.
Best Regards David.

I have a Combat Models vacform kit of the USS Ward at 1/72. This is very basic - two-part hull and other mouldings, and flat styrene and tubing. The 3" and 4" guns and a few other parts are in white metal. Instructions, full size Blue Jacket drawings, and other data included. Still in the original box addressed to Dave Carter of White Ensign Models. Bought in 2008 and untouched since!
