So true.....in OZ at our supermarkets

1. single use plastic bags were being disposed in Landfil, they then caused an issue with Indonesia, then China declining to recycle them
2. $0.15 multiple use plastic bags which seem to add up at home, however they are due to be taken form supply
3. $2.50 cotton 1/2 size bags so you need twice as many for your shopping
4. $2.50 imitation woven style Bamboo 1/2 size bags, made in China from 70% of their own recycled plastic

Just another example of government regulating the small guy because it does not have the guts to do so to the manufacturers.If the plastic of the product covering were to be eliminated/changed to a sustainable material, AND we used our own bags. Look where we would have been if this approach were to have been instituted 25 years ago. Follow the MONEY.
