cornwall models
« on: May 26, 2023, 04:53:21 pm »

Hi, Does anybody out there know anything about Cornwall Models. I have had an order in since March, after a good while I enquired by E-Mail and they would contact me when the items came in. Since then nothing, no phone or mail. Been on to Krick and the items are on their site and appear to be available except the payment is by Paypal, which I do not touch since I got burnt twice. Hi my mate Bill

How's ya deein?  Literally today I have received a canny order from Cornwall Models.  Good few bobs worth.   I did have to wait a week - as certain items weren't in stock.   I gave them a ring though - I think last Tuesday - and hey presto me stuff was here today.   I know with Cornwall Models if an item is shown as being in stock sometimes it isn't.   The policy they seem to adopt is to hold on to your order until they have the item to send you.   They didnt inform me of this with my order.   So, I was sitting waiting - thus I decided to ring them - and spoke to the gentleman there and he was happy to explain to me what is going on.   It would be a good idea for them to contact you by email / ring - and let ya know what is happening.

As far as payment goes, I have used paypal and me plastic card - and I am going to tempt the devil here and say Nothing has gone wrong so far with payment to Cornwall.   So, give them a ring my mate.   Good Company to deal with.

I agree nice company to deal with.  I had an obscure but complete fittings set to sell on behalf of our club, they of course were not interested but put me onto one of their customers and he bought it.  He had it on order although there was almost zero chance of them having it, for over a year.
Nice gesture I thought.

I agree CMB are a great company to deal with - Personally I always pick up the phone to anyone that I have any problems with.  I have found CMB to be the best in customer service and are very helpful when something doesn't go quite right which is usually out of their control.

I have also purchased from them previously and the items arrived in good time. Their communication throughout the process was also excellent........and I am located on the other side of the Globe.
Suggest you give them a call rather than email for an update.

Thanks for your input and I agree that the service I have had in the past has been good which is why I was wondering if anything was askew.I shall try again on Tuesday and have a chat with the answering machine, nemesis
