Cat ladder rungs

The Nordkap kit calls for the bending of brass rods into rungs for the cat ladder (see attached). Can someone recommend a cunning trick how you would get them identical as 14 need to be made.
I had the idea of using heavy duty staples instead as by luck they are the same size and general shape.

Circlip:
You need t make a simple jig.

Thanks Dave, I started the boat back in the 1980s so things have changed. The speed and direction controls I fitted are Heath Robinson stuff, particularly as components were hard to find in South Africa back then where I was living at the time.

I used a needle nose pliers, and stuck the brass rod into the pliers at
the same point for each bend like a depth gauge.  :-)
