Tug Yorkshireman Mast Lights
« on: July 31, 2023, 09:12:04 am »

Hello,
I'm on with repairing/rebuilding an old Model Slipways Yorkshireman.  The hull had picked up some light damage which I've repaired.   However I became dissatisfied with the superstructure so I've replaced that from scratch.  I'm about to embark on the replacement mast, which will be from brass tubes to conceal most of the wiring.
Now the mast has 3 front pedestals for Towing lights and four crosstrees with upper and lower lamps each side.   That's a lot of lamps.  Can anyone enlighten me please on what each lamp is?  I'm presuming most are sectored and paired to allow for the thick mast.
Any help gratefully received.

Look at this may help

Thanks for that.  I guess my issue is which sets of lights the Yotkshireman would cover.  I'm thinking Navigation, Towing, NIC, Working and Restricted
