 Welcome to a bit of Nostalga, over the past year I have managed to Scan every front cover of the Monthly
Model Boats magazine this also includes the magazine back to the very first issue in 1950 when it was then
called " Model Maker ", a copy of which can be seen below.

The scans do not cover the contents of the magazine , for this I would recommend a site called 
" magazineexchange.co.uk " where a search facility is available and on a majority of the magazines
a complete index is shown .

Hi Martin, thanks for that.  I used to have the magazine from late 1954 regularly.  In those days the 'contents' each month would rotate through Model ships. Engineering and model railways.
When colour was first introduced it was only a few centre pages.  On one occasion a review by David Abbot of a kit build had the model spread across 2 pages one half in colour the the other black and white!  I remember pulling his leg over that.
