Seabex one - Restoration project
« on: April 06, 2024, 12:31:51 pm »

Hello all,

I picked up a seabex one last year for not a great amount of money, it originally was built to a high standard it seems however the years have taken a toll on her.

Does anybody have any plans / hints / tips? from what i've looked at briefly almost everything is there just damaged / in need of replacement.

I see there is a vast amount of 3d printable files for seabex one / upgrades however i don't have a printer.

A great start would be knowing the correct colour codes to repaint her & a set of plans if anyone has?

I will add pics as i go

Hi
there are a few Seabex 1 builds on here.
As for colour depends on when you want to build her. She has changed so much in her life you would not reconise her from the orignal,

I'll try and put her back to original,

Will probably experiment in the future with making the pods 360degree, my day job is navigating/ maneuvering a 3 podded large passenger vessel that are all 20Megawatt and obviously 360.
