  Greetings everyone,
       Next Sunday weather permitting (if we are expecting horrendous rain/gales etc no sale will take place)  we are having the first of our Bring and Buy days at the pond in Rotten Row Southport. The day starts at 08.30 hours all are welcome, the cost is £5 a table if you are selling items, refreshments will be available on the day (Bacon butties,tea and coffee) at very reasonable prices. Last year our bring and buy days were very successful and really well attended with a good turnout so why not come along.
        We are in the process of building a heavy duty boat lift for anyone wishing to launch a heavy model, the lift should be ready for use on our next regatta day. Looking forward to seeing you all on the day.

  Greetings everyone,
         Although the weather was not initially kind to us (fine rain until 9am) the turn out was very good, once the rain stopped the sun tried to come out and made the day far more acceptable. The car park was full so quite a lot of the cars had to park in Rotten Row, bacon butties were very popular and there were some good bargains to be had including a steam launch in full working order for £350.00. Some really nice boats sailed on the pond including a paddle steamer and a beautiful Victorian launch. Thanks again to everyone who attended, hope you all enjoyed the hospitality hope to see you at the next meeting.
