radio transmitters for charity donations
Neil:
hi all,
whilst having a clearout I found two transmitters that if remember were given to me some time agoone is an old classic Digifleet [presume 40mhz] 4 CHANNEL [I think] transmitter.
no idea what it is worth, but if someone makes a decent donation to Cancer Research I will post it to mainland UK covering cost of postage 2nd class.
The second tx is a 27mhz 2 chanel Hitec with tx crystal............same goes, a donation to Cancer Research and ill pay postage.
Thank you all.
if admin feel this should be in for sale, please adjust accordingly. thanks.
roycv:
Hello Neil the Fleet one is 40 Mhtz FM and the top switch on the left (aerial edge) looks like it has a throttle / mixer built into the Rx.Nice I have one so will pass this by.
Roy
Neil:
cheers for the info Roy.....any info helps if someone wants it. :-))
HMS Invisible:
You'll find Fleet and Futaba crystals are the same so you can use or test it with Futaba and Corona gear.
A six channel Fleet transmitter would be great for a sub user on its own if they own a synthesised ( no Rx crystal needed as it binds to 40 Mhz Tx)
This is just for info to boost sale value. I've enough 40 MHz gear.
Neil:
thanks for thje info.....have 5 sets of 40 meg myself but as this is pretty vintage and you have witnessed my total lack of ability to sort out modern stuff on the other thread, just thought that a donation to cancer research someone might want it to fiddle with.....i'll give ity a week or so n if not put it on ebay with all proceeds to them. least i can do for the way their research saved me last year.
