I was watching a video by travel vlogger Steve Marsh about a short visit to the Scottish island of Foula. Near the end there were a couple of short snippets showing an old lifeboat left sitting on land at the harbour.

The snippets are at 44.40 and 48.00 minutes. It looks to be a early lifeboat, some here might recognise the class. It is not in the best of conditions as it has just been left open to the worst of the weather.(PS. to help find where it is, Foula is to the west of the Shetland Mainland and is classed as the UK's most remote inhabited island.)Jim

from the shape of the stern and contour, she is a single engined Liverpool Class lifeboat, and as one can only see single dials and some motor controls on the bulkhead right of the open door it would seem so.none stationed at Foula but a few in Scotland......28 of that class built, with 20 of the twin engined boats built....overall very similar to look at.
this is a recently twin engined model i have finished of one based at blackpool 1970's

Have managed to find some details on Wikipedia. Built in 1937 and named Clarissa Langden. Based at Boulmer 1937 to 1962, reserve fleet to 1963, Seaham in 1963 then reserve fleet until sold in March 1965. last reported as a workboat at Foula in 2021.
