 Salvage Vessel SSRV 1.5M “Shallow Sea Recovery Vessel” (only used in a lake so it’s obviously not a DSRV?)Shaped like a high sided Landing Craft with a droppable bow ramp, although it’s has been sealed to prevent water ingress if vessel is required to lift an object from the sea bed it also has two remote controlled fill and drain saddle ballast tanks, one on each side of the bow to give a better lifting capacity (an idea derived from the old MOD Boom Defence Bar Wild Duck class of salvage ships that used massive cylindrical pontoons to assist in giving added buoyancy).The SSRV weighing weighs over 25Kg when fully loaded.
