Desco shrimp trawler
Mark T:
4mm planks - now that is very difficult
B.B:
Hi Mark , actually with her shape no problems planking her as they are fairly fine towards the bow area and being a full deadwood no hollow heal the planking runs through tho the stern area easy as. With these photo's took her off the jig, then for the bases for both models put the Camphor cut offs through the thicknesser also a section of Red cedar, which will also be used with the bases , before starting on the shelfing and deck beams ,pre installed the running gear , servo frame and ESC bases ( later 2 not shown), installed the aft knees and the bow knees, also gave her a coat of wood preserver ,then about 4-5 days later she was painted out with X40-Bond Coat....Cheers :-)) ....

Amazing work Brian - here's a confession; when I saw that you had used different type headed screws for the motor mounting my OCD popped out and went into over drive - sorry mate :embarrassed: :embarrassed: {-) {-) {-)
KNO3:
Beautiful work, congratulations!
It would make a great hull for a nice steam plant.
Capt Podge:
