York engine set-up
« on: February 07, 2025, 05:08:46 pm »

If anyone is interested, on Monday our local auction has a Maxwell York set.  https://auctions.clarkeandsimpson.co.uk/auctions/9175/ibcla11036/lot-details/2ae1528f-143f-4717-bad8-b27d009b273f I had one 30+ years ago and it would push a 30lb Saint class rescue tug with power to spare! :-))

Bit of a difference from when I bought mine. ME exhibition at Ally Pally and the machined/painted engine kit was £80.00. Bought a Cheddar boiler from Maritime Models in Greenwich but no figure comes to mind {:-{
