Schnellboot torpedoes firing system

Hi crew looking for ideas on how to get the torpedoes to fire out of the torpedo tubes ,have the torpedo doors on the Schnellboot working correctly port then std open close , I  looked at a spring loaded solenoid, high speed actuator, even tried a rubber band on a servo release  system from a spear gun  as it is 1/12 scale some room for equipment, air release was a disaster both in cost and ability to fire the torpedo out so if anyone has achieved firing torpedoes keen to learn more tassie48

Hi Crew do any of you sub guys launch torpedoes from your subs if so what or how do you launch the torpedoes from the torpedo tubes trying to figure out how to launch torpedoes from a schnellboot torpedoe tubes any all help much appreciated tassie48
