My humble Northlight build (2)
« on: August 03, 2025, 12:13:53 pm »

 Ok so why (2) ?

I got to 95% of my original build (https://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,52373.0.html ) when my ex clumsy 5 stone dog fell off the bed and onto the boat (my fault it was on the floor). I spent 5 years trying to contact Calderfcaft (Jotika) trying to order the parts needed, but with every email going un-answered I bided my time till the right model/kit cam up on fleabay for the cost of what the parts would probably cost!!. In the end I got a complete kit (missing plans and destructions, no problem, got these).

So looks like I've got the chance to start again (will not host the pics on PB site).

New Fleabay purchase

Not impressed with the lack of any cutting (die crunch or otherwise) of the ply parts.

So I've drawn my own and lasered them

Probably due to the kits age or where ever it has been stored, but the deck and other featured parts on the thin ply have faded and twisted, also not die or cut. So I have drawn them again and will laser print and cut them.

Also started on the Rudder assembly
