Humble Bristol Channel pilot cutter
« on: September 27, 2025, 09:30:54 am »

Hello all I's been a long time since I posted anything here so I do appologise for all errors Iwill made by posting.
Hull is one of the Sarik hobbies ones. Making this boat saved my mind during covid times. I haven't taken any photos during building her. It's a nice build, though deck is a bit off original one. Anyway few photos:

I find the free program Irfanview is handy for resizing photos, it has a batch function to convert a number of photos at once. It is also a simple photoeditor allowing you to trim an oversized photo.

The is also a simple way to use the Windows snipping tool on a photo or documents, if you are running windows, and have the Windows key on your keyboard (keyboards do)

Press Windows+shift+s.
A cross appears on the screen. Drag and drop a box around what you want to copy.
The snipping tool dialogue box then pops up.Click on this box and it will open. Then save the file
You can then attach this file into a post on Mayhem

For other applications, like Word, Power point, and some social media, you can simply:
Windows+poop+s, snip your box, then paste directly into the application.

I find using the snipping tool great for quickly sharing images, although there is some loss in quality.
