Boat building resource ?
« on: June 23, 2006, 04:36:11 pm »

Are there any good web sites devoted to the construction and rigging of model yachts?

I mean "good" though.  Google has given me a few but they seem to be shop oriented and not really teaching me anything.

If there aren't, then there aren't and I'll toddle off to the library - but |I have to ask.

David,
I have been sailing for just over 17 years .
Most of the time sailing a One Metre boat, rest of it sailing my big Schooner, Bluenose.
The best site I can recommend is Lester Gilbert's, it has got to be the Best!.
The Site is at? ? http://www.onemetre.net/
Lester is a Lecturer at Southampton Naval College and really knows his stuff !!.
