Hi

Two questions.

What is a MAX2?  oscillator, slide valve or what?

What size is the boiler? Who is the boiler maker? I will need a horizontal boiler soon for a Cheddar Gemini.

BTW i see that Sturat have finally got round to offering the Puffin.   It wouldbe nice to think that the Gemini and Proteus would follow, but I doubt it :-(

Why not put a few pictures and a firm price in a post in the Sales section and see what happens?  Take into account it's age, condition and what one would cost nowadays and what you think you would like for it.

You can also put a copy of the post on the Model Boat Magazine Forum and Paddleducks Forum where you may also find some interest.  The advantages are that you are targeting exactly the audiences you want and it won't cost you anything.

If that doesn't work then try Ebay.

The Max11 is a piston valve engine.

Not a slide valve.

Hope this helps.
