modelling material(this is possibly in wrong place)

i am building a dockside scene :D to house some of static boat models but i've run up against a problem of findingwhere to get some of the materials. i have a couple of land rovers that i want to use as working vehicles around a boat yard and want to modify thembut can;t seem to track down anything that looks like checkerplate or corigated roofing or even tiled roofing. i know it exists because i used to use it years sgo when iwas into model railways with my grandsons,but where did i get from .pretty desperate so need your help. i'm aware of plastruct which i use a lot but this is not on thier websitecheers lads,roy mtb :kiss: :kiss:

Sounds like you need Slater's embossed plasticard. Have a look here:

This is direct to the manufacturer, don't know if it is any cheaper, but you won't have any trouble of it being out of stock

Yes, I mentioned Squires in my post. When I was in there just over a week ago they had a very big selection of the embossed plasticard in stock. Prices from £1.75 to £2.99 per sheet depending on the pattern.

thanks bog standard but i've been trying to down load the pdf file all weekend but it' won't work :-\ ??? and individually it will take forever. roy
