Used to go shooting in my late teens/early twenties. Had a Nokica ? or something like that bolt action .410 (3 inch chamber) and a single barrel 12 bore (think that had 2 3/4 inch max chamber). Shot the odd pidgeon and game bird, very rarely. Usually, my shooting trips boiled down to going for a walk round my uncle's farmland. No longer got a certificate, let it expire and and didn't renew. I was keen on air rifles too, had a BSF B55. Always wanted a Feinwerkbau Sport but never had one. Wouldn't mind one now if anyone is selling one ??
Guess I'm not happy about shooting animals anymore but I not an animal rights nutter.

Hi toesupwa,
were you in Swansea this summer for the sea shanty festival?
GARY

Swansea Is a little bit too far for me to get to from here Gary... and there is a small 'pond' in the way...

I caught the Wife and her Gurlie version of the Blunderbuss in 'full flow' when we were out 'practicing' at the range a few weeks ago...

Do you get many visitors and, if so, what is the survival rate?  :o

I do a bit of shooting, got a couple of 12g over and unders, 2 air rifles, one of which is a pre-charged 8 shot bolt action, very nice to shoot.

mainly do clay pigeon, due to the farmer selling up the land i used to rough shoot on.

I shoot 50-75 sporting, tried that "Down The Line" thing but found it a little to easy and far to many serious shooters, it was all buisness without the laughs we have during a sporting shoot.

Also do a different type of shooting with my Canon EOS400D

All boarders will be repelled with vigour!...
Strange as it seems, when people visit and see what we have, they ALL want to have a go with the Blunderbuss's.. Mine, is known on the West coast of the USA as 'The Giggler'.. Everyone that has a go with it always giggles once they have fired it.

I thought as much, strange coincidence though to meet another husband and wife duo reenacting piracey each armed with similar weapons ie a 10 & 4 gauge blunderbus.
Mindyou they also had a small galloper gun (canon) mounted on a pair of wheels. Now that was spectacular. 8oz black powder even without a live load fired in the confines of the mariner. About the size of two football fields end to end and surounded by tall buildings wooooaaah loud man. Fancy one o' them? I do!
