Do you know if KIWI modeller is on this site.......the lad from New Zealand? ??? he used to submit all the interesting topics about the Taycol Electric motors, vintage stuff & steam engines.

He has not posted on modelwarships for some time, saw him at Ellesmere show last year, if its the same guy, he,s up on the Oil riggs in Aberdeen

The kiwimodeller we all know from the MB site is in New Zealand, not too difficult to work out really. I've just told him about this new BB, so he should be making an appearance soon, probably in the steam section.

Hi All

Just dismantled the staging from Anmo's nose, can honestly say I couldnt find any traces of any brains the only thing I could find was a Waverley's Fire crash tender, half inch undersized barely even started - gathering dust, a small half built puffer with some half made Action Electronics, a couple of 500s that need refurbishing & motors reinstalled, a tug boat to start, sound effects to instal into a boat and a large armchair.? I found also a few spare parts for a Lotus car? ::) now I mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm wonder where they came from - aye Riggers might know -?

You're right Bluebird. There are one or two from the old MB site that could make a useful contribution here, but there are also a few I can think of who I hope never find this new Mayhem site. I fear that our days may be numbered, but we're still a Fred-free zone.

Well what's 1/2" it could be 2 1/2", action electronics are all built and working,the tug will have to wait can't afford the schottel drives/motors and servos so if you want to buy them for my Birthday you can, best part of ?250. Club500 only needs the motor remounting the other is fine and for the lotus parts, am lost maybe he's on about you anmo. Anyway who set the deadlines I have all the time in the world well when I ain't at work or bring work home or being the local taxi or hotel for family.

It's mike Hingley and I can't find his email address, but he was have some hospital treatment if I remember right

Hiya John - just got back from holiday to find the MB forum had disappeared so I came looking for everyone and found you all hiding here !! Looks like a good site.
I'm coming up to God's own country in a few weeks time but don't know if I will get down to the lake, I'll certainly try. Presume the lake hasn't filled up with swan poo yet ??

was down at lake on Sunday, talking to a few lads, and I couldnt for the life of me remember your surname - Everybody in the club was guessing and were trying to put your name to the face or a face to your name.

Anyway, you better get here soon - cause the talk of the town is.....they are going to revamp the owld lake, wonder where the swans will garn.....they are going to revamp to clubhouse i.e. turn it back to its old Victorian style with seats out front... good old Shields Council?

lets see what mess they make of this one?

Hi John, It will indeed be interesting to see what sort of a lash up the council makes of it. Remember the last time they were going to do a wild west theme or summat and had the idea to turn the club house into a wine bar. Thankfully we still had the late Catherine Cookson as the commodore and she threatened to make them take her name off the lamp posts !!
Presumably that means Mr Minchella will have to move his ice cream elsewhere and more to the point he won't be paying the clubs electricity ! My bottom lip is quivering to think the yacht crowd have forgotten me already, especially Ernie Birch :'( ( the 'K' is for Kearney) As for those long necked flying poop machines hopefully they will all "xxxxx" off back to the lakes up and down the east coast where they came from in the first place. Is there still 150 plus ?
