Hi All, i hope someone can help. just bought this yacht hull/deck on e-bay its 72in long and widest beam 24in, with a removable keel missing its ballast. she seems to be based on a full size yacht the mouldings are of a high quality. there are electrics for a prop and some kind of worm drive (sail winch). she has never been sailed and i am hoping someone can point me in the right direction as to how to rig and complete this model. i have taken several pics which i can send to interested parties,my e-mail is jim19808@aol.com thanks for any help Jim

I would look for a club with an interest in racing "A" class yachts.  The auxiliary power stops it being a racer, of course, but the size says that an "A" rig would do the job.
Remember Achimedes principal - it will weigh whatever the same as whatever water it displaces - when done, that is going to be a HEAVY boat, and, without assistance, might want you to join it in the pond when you launch it.
