I am starting a build. ULSTEIN SX121. I am doing it 1:48 scale so it will be approximately 8' long.
I am looking to get nozzles that house a 95mm prop. My question is will that be okay? Or could I get away will smaller props?
Thank you
John

I have a table, gleaned from one of the many modelling books I have read over the years, which suggests a 50mm prop for a 48 inch boat. Doubling up you get 100 mm for an 8ft boat, so 96 seems good. However, the table is for a single prop boat suggesting you could drop the diameter for a multi prop. How many are you fitting? What size props are fitted to the original?

John,
Looking forward to seeing the build.
Where did you get the plans?

There will be 2 mains. I ordered 100mm 4 blade props. So that should be good...
