Evening all !

I'm after some tiny hinges for the Puffer 'head' and 'companion way' I'm building, anyone know where I can get some?
1/24 scale ....

Hi Martin, check out the dolls house modelling supply firms, Hobbies etc as 1/24th is a standard Dolls House scale.

Hi there,

do you fancy making your own?? They arent that difficult:

Couple of flat needle files, some ten thou brass shim.

pair tin snips, flat nose pliers - also 1/16 diameter tube and some 15 amp single core cable

I make all my own - that's why none of our doors will shut?

only joking - seriously they arent difficult to make at all.

OK everyone, the hinges are for Jan's Puffer,? I was hoping I could sneak the question quietly onto the Forum but Jan spotted it!?
The TOP & Bottom hinges look the best bet, 2 pairs of each please Jan. Please see if they sell? suitable screws too please.

Jan's Puffer is in it's final stages and will have a major update on Mayhem once it's finished.... honest!

Hi ya Martin,? (from one Blurbird to another Blurbird) was the blur due to too much amber nectar?

I dont know how to make everything?

'cause I dont know how to get Riggers to make his crash tender - when I can solve that problem - I may be able to solve a lot more problems.?

I need a crew for the Puffer

We are at the painting stage, which is also the "why didn't I paint that earlier stage!"

I need a captain, & 2 or 3 crew, what are your recommendations for makers and suppliers?

............... and has anyone got time ( and skill ) to paint them for me?

Martin .Did you get the bolts for your hinges? I tried 14 and 16 BA but lost most the nuts and did not think they looked all that good, I then used 3/32 rivets and found they looked better and it did not matter if you lost them.a few picks

Martin, if you are heading for really fine hinges- just ask your local optician for a a pair of old glasses- which had been left to throw away. They are the finest I know and you may use them down to a scale of about 1:48...
