Hi Boatbuilder2011. If you go to the forum home screen and type in the names of the ships in the search box you might just find something.

There was a plan in the International Model Boat Magazine late last year with a Trawler plan in it called the 'Ross Daring' now i have the plan and would be happy enough to mail it to you if the plan will be used to build her, I have no interest in fishing boats.

There was also a build log of someone doing her on here a while back, no idea what happened to it.

If you want the plan please pm me an address I'll mail it to you.

The only models I have seen of these boats are on ships nostalgia all scratch built by an ex trawlerman goes by the username trawlercook

this is his gallery something close to thirty pages , but knocks out a model every couple of weeks even though has lost fingers when trawling and well worth a look as well

I sleuthed out the builder for the Maverick and the Time Bandit, and was told
that copyrights prevented them from releasing any plans.

I remember  this guy from a couple of years back after I won one of his boats on ebay, let's just say that his pictures are very very deceiving, After rescuing the motor and propshaft the rest of the paper mâché went in the bin!

Just for clarification, I located Giddings Shipyard, the ship builders, not the model builder, and
talked with a representive there, and was sent away with no plans.  :((

You could almost make some plans from the fantastic photos supplied by Wbeedie.

The modeler has done great work to be sure,...He's built the models,... I haven't   O0

I could make plans from the archive of pictures I have collected.. time and lack of time are typically the issue.
Sort of have to finish the Damen 2810 I started, and the "other" project..  %)

Don't forget the plans don't have to be absolutely correct, as long as the model looks right.

You might want to consider starting with the plans for the dumas jolly jay and stretching the length by adding a couple of frames n the middle just a thought
