update :D



billings did not give me enough planks to skin a 1/50 ship and none of the hobby shops
have the right size planks so i went with 3'' sheets,this works so much better ;D O0

after glassing the hull how important are the frames?
i want to trim a few down to fit the batterys

strange thing happened yesterday :o i went to staples to enlarge some
parts, well  :o i told the girl to enlarge the parts 150% and she did.
      well it looked like she made the parts 350%  :o :o  now i know for the
hull and first deck i copyed everything at 150%  but now i'm wondering
if i made a mistake with my math or did the staples girl just mess up real bad!!!

My son used to work for Staples so it's a fair bet they messed up.
Yours does look 50% bigger than original or the original looks 2/3 the size of the new one, so I would think you are probably OK. O0

 O0 Great work so far. Looking forwards to seing the finnished project.

Have often wondered why Billings did the Rotterdam at 1:75 and the Nederland at 1:33  ???

Just picture the pair of them together at 1:33 scale......

The missus will never go for it! >>:-(

work is so slow on this ship with cutting the 1/75 parts then sanding
then enlargeing them to 1/50 :D

WELL its about time...........
 
 i get a phone call today  my korts,props and motors
made there way over from germany :o :o 3 months :(
the props are 60mm rivabo brass 4 blade and happy hunter
motors


the props are on the smit hunter

i had to cut LARGE holes to let everything hang loose
now i patch up the holes
