I ordered two props from him a couple of weeks back they arrived last week. Stunning as always. Probably extremely busy as previously mentioned- I bought directly from the website and asked a questions which didn’t get answered but the correct props came anyway.

Hi ?
No, not directly. Through a middle man though.

At IMBS of year 2011, Leamington Spa,  I asked a regular trade customer of Prop-shop "what the lead time" for the Prop-shop parts sold in their kits.
"usually four to six weeks from order" was the answer.
I asked Simon in person when the prop shop stand was less busy and got "4-6 weeks for specials".

4-6 weeks for turning round investment cast parts is blooming quick! - 8 to 16 week industry average in the top Google hit https://www.google.com/search?&q=investment+casting+average+lead+time

The internet archive shows the made to order 4-6 week lead time has been given top prominence in the Propshop website as the only bold, capital letter text in the top middle of the homepage since December 2016, for sometime highlighted on a yellow background. What more can he do than bold caps and highlight than print & staple it in front of everyone like you did?

S*** happens (Covid, being locked out of accessing your workspace etc.) so if you drew a blank with the enquiry form on the website's contact page.
Mobile phone contact Details for Simon appears in a blue headed  box to its right. (sms? voicemail? or live calls?)

Email forms filters out the tide of email spam sent to web shops. Forget emailing from a browser if you see a contact form on a webshop.

I ordered a pair of 48 mm props for MMM kort nozzles from Simon.  I received them here in Australia 5 days later.

I have ordered my last 4 props through Simon and had no problem, if he has the props that you need in stock he will send them straight out, If they have to be made obviously it will be a bit longer. I found the best way to contact Simon is through his Facebook page.

Great service and you will have to go a long way to get better.

Not quite so simple picking up a telephone when you’re  bobbing around in the ocean... I much prefer emails. - I have been trying to get these props for circa 6 months.

I can understand that part. It is not unreasonable. I think the information would have enhanced your first entry on this thread.

I covered it with the suggestion to use the webform. I meant the techy term "email client" when I wrote browser by mistake.

...
Email forms filters out the tide of email spam sent to web shops. Forget emailing from a browser if you see a contact form on a webshop.
You quoted my full reply but what about the specific part above?
Do you understand my point there?
If not, the web form function is to ensure you can get an email through. It appends whitelisting info to bypass anti spam filtering.

Their webform is preceded by:-"If you have an enquiry about The Prop Shop, or to find out more information about our products or services, then please complete our enquiry form below and we’ll be in contact with you."
Did you complete the web form and Prop Shop not manage to make contact?
