Thats understandable as the x-bow that its based off would have to be 59 inches long to build her to  1/70 scale it doesn't look any bigger than their tug hulls, and at £264 give me a break  :o :o

I suppose it depends on your experience and wherewithal for fibreglassing . If you are not skilled in plug and mould making then £264 isn't too bad a price for the size.

The picture doesn't really capture its real size. Pretty sure I could sit in it

Just an update on the X-bow plug, It looks like i won't be doing the mould as i had an attempt at doing a bit of fibre glassing and had to throw the towel in after a very short time due to problems with my chest.
I contacted a friend who does glassing for a living he is going to make the mould. I will post the first hull out of the mould. :-))

Sorry to hear that Brian but, no doubt, once you get the hull back we will see some lovely modelling going on... :-))

Ray.

Nice to see others making an X Bow.  I have been plodding away at my own.  The hull ribs cut for me by Barraccuda Boats for "Alp Striker"  Although I have changed her under the water line to run twin Voith units.
