Hi All,
Can anyone help ...... Mike Sheppard is trying to contact Mick French. The contact number I have for Mick is out of date (I think he's moved house) and I don't have a mobile number for him.I've tried to send him a PM via the forum but it wouldn't work.All help appreciated.

Attention all who are planning a trip to Blackpool next weekend. I have just received a message from Mobile Marine Models to say sadly they will not be able to attend this year. If you have pre ordered items from them please could give them a call to arrange collection or arrange postal from them. I understand the Xmas Cracker will still be taking place on Saturday 24th November at their workshop so you may be able to collect items on the 24th. Bryan and Ann send their apologies and hope this does not cause any inconvenience.

Yes there is and it will be in the ballroom around 16 tables long......forms will be available from Susan ,there is a small charge with the charge going to the Rnli....over £1700 was Raised according to Stav

"In 2016 The bring & buy stall was immensely popular & raised in the region of £700 for the RNLI.
In 2017 it was even more popular, raising in excess of £1100 for the RNLI needless to say the bring & buy will return for 2018 providing you with either an opportunity to turn unwanted items into cash, or to grab a bargain (or both!)

Entries are most welcome & will be subject to a 10% selling fee. There is no charge if your model does not sell.

The bring & buy stall will be run by the Blackpool Model Boat Club, with profits going to the RNLI."

The Blackpool club run the bring and buy......fill in form and leave model with them and if they can they will sell it

Been asked to post this it is important to ALL show visitors

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING PARKING.

Right then this is VERY IMPORTANT and TAKE NOTE of what we are saying.

Parking at the Hotel is FREE BUT BUT BUT you will NEED to give your car REGISTRATION when you pay for your ticket at the entrance, PLEASE if you don't know it or cant remember it then write it down prior to gaining entry....

If you FAIL to give your car registration at the show entrance and get a parking ticket the Show organisers will NOT BE HELD responsable and ALSO if you give us the incorrect car registration the same will apply.

All TRADERS and CLUBS should have given us their car and van registrations.....IF NOT see Me or Iain .

We will be during the day be taking the registrations to the hotel so they can be inputed into their system...we will be holding a copy of all car registrations.There will be ample signage around the venue to remind you ALL of what to do in regards of the parking....even on the ticket machines.PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER HOTEL RECEPTION WITH YOUR CAR REGISTRATION....LEAVE THAT TO THE SHOW ORGANISERS.

I make no appology for so called shouting on this post it is obvious WHY.

Car and Van all packed see you ALL at the show...How much sleep we will get tonight as I have 2 Very Very Excited Girlies.....Oh and Me of course

usually dearer on the door at the weekend, hence pre booking is an incentive

Spent almost all day at the show and much improved on last year I felt

very busy all around superb models
I collected an MBD Shannon kit and ordered a hull from Orion mouldings inspired by Dave Perry

Been to another Blackpool Show--- had a fantastic time !!.
For me, it is just getting better and better !!.
The quality of some of the Models was almost beyond belief.
Definitely beyond belief, was just how many there were !!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Having an early Night, trying to get my Head back to Normal !!

Hats off to Ian and Dave, the show this year was absolutely superb great range of models on show, excellent selection of traders too. Had 3 generations of my family in attendance and hopefully we will be back next year. I know I'm biased but having the tanks and truckers there is great.

Been to 4 of the last 5 shows. This one was superb, outstanding models, together with the free carpark, the food was a reasonable price as was the drinks etc. Overall this show has to rank as top UK show. Missed Dave and our great leader, but those of you who did not go, you missed out big style
