In the finest tradition of a Radio Joe build, this has been an epic journey with you seeing your efforts and tribulations and experiments and successes.

I wish you well on launch day. Look for a non slippery place to launch from and don't drive too fast to the lake!

Well done Chris! As expected it's turned out fantastic! (As expected). Another really good build thread complete. Easy for me to say but I'm sure it'll be fine on the water and it won't take long for the nerves to disappear! Looking forward to seeing it!

HI Dan cheers for your nice comments an lets just hope she is ok on the wet stuff but she is gettin heavy now an ive tried to build light an whatch  top wheight but that wheight has gone on the bridge s/s just as well ive fitted on her counter balence wheights on her keel but i think the wheight is the brass mast an the rear yard arms on the main mast so will see how things go on the day as if she will not be stable on stabillity then she wont sail an come home in disgrace lol
an as you will find out dan that your ocean will be a back breaker due to gettin her to sit in the water propberly but with help you will be ok

Fingers crossed for you Chris!
Yes I'll have to find someone willing to lift it with me due to the weight! I have to find a lake I can park right next to the water as my nearest lake is a good 5 minute walk away from the car

HI Dan well if the lake is 5 mins walk you really need a little a lttle trolly or a cart as that 5mins walk carryin a big model will seem a lot longer than 5mins  but thats in the future for you

Hi there, the answer is NO. Use the bec circuit in the speed controller or disconnect the red wire between the rx and the esc and use a separate Rx battery.
Cheers chipmonk

HI ALL well i dont know if you will understand this but ive found out what my eletric problem is on tiger so far an im pretty sure im right an below is a quick exslanplation of what ive done wrong an how im goin to get around it but will find out for defienet today[/size]WELL ive been up since 4 am as this eletric problem as gotten to me but up the pond on sunday i was talkin to a chap an tellin him my probs an i he told me how this BECC system works better than anybody elese has an i now know what i have done wrong. An thats ive been tryin to mix the old way of tryin to save money an usein old ESC THAT ARE batt powered R/X (receiver) to work servo's AN the newer way OF the BECC power to work the servos an no battrey to power the R/X which is the receiver from the R/C HAND SET so an to cut a long story short im goin too have to have 2 R/X (RECIEVER's ) IN TIGER an that one at the back to power the rudder an all 6 stabilizers an to also power theNEW 320 AMP ESC 'S X2 to POWER ALL FOUR MOTORS an also to power the bowthruster WHICH IS ALSO BECC POWERED in the front part of the ship .AN then the front R/X ( receveier) will power all things from its own batt power not like this BECC system to power all the other systems like all the 4 radars an all the lights an helicopter an red anti collishion lights an such but ive got to stop there as im pullin my hair out lol an im goin to try this all out TODAY how's that ALL hope you understand that as im only just gettin my head around it Aaaaaaaaccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh an tryin to keep calm ALL THE BEST TO YOU ALL an just hope im right as know this is a crazy way to do this but best i can come up with an so far ive got all 4 motors running ok so ive got a start  an yes i could have it all running from this BECC system but i want to use two batts one to power the all 4 motors   to give me plenty of sailin time an the other batt to power all the radars an lights an such

Chris
Not sure why 2x r/x dont forget you will have to bind them to your tx, can that be done?  How are you operating the stabs? not by linkage I assume, which is power free.  It does seem a bit complicated, and I am a bit lost but good luck m8 sure it will work out ok, although stick with becc I think.  ESC dont take power frrom the rx pack but should be wired to the main battery.

HI BOB yes it can be done as my 2 r/x work bueatifully togeather from my T/X an yes all my 4 motors now work ok but the reason why im fittin in two R/X is because when usein becc everything has got to work from one batt yea well thats no good to me as i have two batts in her one working the becc motors an rudder for plenty of sailing time an the other batt to work all the 4 radars an bridge lights an helicopter an other thing like coolin fans an such an two batts for ballast  now do you see what im doin but at the moment i cant get my bow thruster to work from this becc system as on the two ESC ive took out one red power wire that goes to the R/X that operates the motors so ive taken out the red power wire on the small esc  that operates the bow thruster an soon as i conect it up to the batt trminals the motors wont work properly then i take them wires off the batt an the motors all work fine so thats my prob at the moment
if you understand what im sayin ?  as the bow thruster ESC is only a small ESC rated a 5v 1amp  so ive fitted in the circut a voltage reducer to cut down the 12v power to 6 v so that should be ok for that small ESC but no joy

HELP AGAIN PLEASE

HI ALL yes it can be done as my 2 r/x work bueatifully togeather from my T/X an yes all my 4 motors now work ok but the reason why im fittin in two R/X is because when usein becc everything has got to work from one batt yea well thats no good to me as i have two batts in her one working the becc motors an rudder for plenty of sailing time an the other batt to work all the 4 radars an bridge lights an helicopter an other thing like coolin fans an such an two batts for ballast  now do you see what im doin but at the moment i cant get my bow thruster to work from this becc system as on the two ESC ive took out one red power wire that goes to the R/X that operates the motors so ive taken out the red power wire on the small esc  that operates the bow thruster an soon as i connect it up to the batt terminals the motors wont work properly then i take them wires off the batt an the motors all work fine so thats my prob at the moment
if you understand what im sayin ?  as the bow thruster ESC is only a small ESC rated a 5v 1amp  so ive fitted in the circut a voltage reducer to cut down the 12v power to 6 v so that should be ok for that small ESC but no joy
SO is it possibe to have a third ESC workin from BECC
with the red power wire removed anyone know how ?

From what I can tell, what you’ve described should work  photos of how you’ve set it up would help identify the issue
