HI ALL
WELL ive got near everything wireded up on her apart from the aperture lights in the rear hull section but so it helps with the power reqirements i have bought x2 power booster to help with that an in the first pic its a 6 v feed  an a 6v output  on the meter an it can be ajusted up wards so if the batt starts to run low i should still get my power reqirement that i need for the ship
https://ibb.co/5MKvVbp
an here ive increased the power on the portenshiner screw up to 12v from 6v an it shows on the meter dont know if they will be any good but to me the meter is not lyin
https://ibb.co/bJwXDp3
close up of the unit
https://ibb.co/qy1BYJB
so i'll see if they will do the job that i reqiure of them to do but wont know till i try it

These work well but do be aware when you jump it from 6v to 12v the current drain from the 6v battery doubles - you don't get something for nothing! I can't see any issued with LED though as the current consumption is minimal anyway.

Cheers

Chris
Easy to add and as for the bow location here you are.  Here is what they look like on Bristol so gives you a rough idea, they do make it stand out as well.

"Divers Lines" are interesting. Are they an English "thing"/ I have not seen them before and am pretty sure that the US Navy did not utilize them( Those SEALS are smart, don't need no lines...)  :} As an aside, I wonder how long the lines lasted in service?

HI Akira yes i think you are right doubt they would stay visble for long by the time the crud built up on the hull when at sea an thats part of the reason why im not bothering to paint them on my hull

Mmm seals must eat lots of carrots then if they can see in the underwater crap
They stay visible for yonks and are replaced. Look at image of QE and POW and you can see them on the bulbous bow

Chris
Not true, QE has done here fair share, and has not had to go back for repairs  apart from teething troubles it PoW that seems fated but why they are blowing it up out of all proportion is beyond me, media muck racking and even if she has been at sea the line will be visible, otherwise no point in them, they are a safety feature after all

HI ALL HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL
AN now not done much as been ill but better now thank goodness
an back to that 3 inch gun mountin well i stripped it all down to fine some c/a glue had jammed the gears an i thought the big servo had burned out well i now find that the servo is ok so had a good think on them 1an half mm leds in one gun barrel had fused so as i would like all the guns to go i drilled out the bad led an replaced it with a new one pic below an here its just gently bein pulled through into the gun barrel but had to go easy as the wire are as thin as a human hair an will break very easy but got it al fitted in ok
