Well lads & lasses it's nearly time for the IMBS. In just over a week I'll be making the long trip out of Norfolk to set up for the show.If you have time, stop by at poolside and say hello. I look forward to seeing everyone and wish you all a fun time.
There will be many boats to admire, steak & kidney pie to consume and possibly a penguin encounter.

Would it be possible for the organizers to publish a list of confirmed attending trades and clubs please. I am aware of previous show attendees but fear the numbers are dwindling. I have a long ,pointless journey to i make it the traders I wish to see are absent. Thanks.

Also a reminder the show is only open Saturday and Sunday this year - NOT the Friday.

Ok, due to an un forseen problem, landriver broken down, i will be up AM saturday. is there anybody who can be there for 8am to help unload 2 heavy boats from  the top of a land rover please

The clock is ticking down ....... all the audio gear is in the trailer and tomorrow I head west towards Warwickshire. I'll see all our friends in the trade and our superb Club exhibitors for set up on Friday.
Come Saturday/Sunday morning I look forward to welcoming all the visitors and wish you all a great visit to the show.
Don't forget that if we've ever corresponded on this forum then please come by the Pool and say hello. (I like my tea white with two sugars - thanks for asking).
Loud Shirt Warning: If you are in the vicinity of the pool when Martin arrives please be ready to wear your darkest shades.

Yes please, behind the Stevenage club stand there will be something very large, yellow and strange looking hanging on the wall (if plans have gone to, well, plan)

A good days set up and I am nearly ready for tomorrow. I have a small collection of boat plans and model boat books (free to a good or even bad home) first come first served just come to the stand (Blackheath in case you have forgotten, also stop by to have a look at the fast electrics on the stand, ok so not steam but very interesting 👍

5 to 6 hr round trip for me and a lot of diesel. So not this year  :((
However I now have THREE lobster boats instead  {-)  There's only Clockwork that has another kit in the whole world aside from moi  8)

Lots of road changes around Coventry, confused the hell of of my satnav!

Here early this year, more by misjudgment than planning. Lot of punters queuing up ready for the off. Very wet here but not raining, good hard standing for all the cars.
