Yes it's me again what a glutton for punishment, you lot are asking for a date well here it is August 15/16th 2009 at the Slate Museum LLanberis with free Camping and Caravaning, much bigger and better than this year

Roll on Llanberis 09. In the mean time are you planing a bash at Wickstead park next year???
Is there enough water to bring my Makara along???
Just got my tent dried and packed away for the winter. It would be nice to to have an idea when we will do it again.

Well I Martin organises Wickstead Unfortuantly they will not allow IC boats and i think you would soon run out of water Bill !!!!!!!!!!!

just checkin the dates for llanberis 2009. its deffo 15th aug yea ?? no changes as we have to build our summer holiday around it...and guess what . there is one mean boat commin along

Stavros has left this Forum so to the best of our knowledge it is by no means certain that Llanberis 2009 will go ahead.

It is going ahead next year under the guise of The North Wales Model Boat Rally. here is the link to it on

I will be there all weekend selling my smoke units and sailing as well (if I get time!!!) There are a few other traders pencilled in as well.

Will be good if this years event is anything to go by,

you can play with my boat no worries !!!! glad i asked now as we comming from plymouth and the pirates have to get the time off work ect as its prime time !!!! whats the score with the camping ect ? is it still going to be onsite for us ??? sorry for the questions but i gotta re-lay to all the pirates who wanna come and support the event like last year (15 of us)

Good to here the plans to still go ahead with next years Llanbaris weekend what ever we call it. I will have to check up with her indoors to see if i am aloud out to play that weekend?????
I'm looking forwards to bringing my (at the moment Kit ) 26 cc hydro plane along to test the water. I am told it should do some where near 70 mph on the water. We will see, but the water at Llanbaris it will be a good testing ground for that type of boat.
