You can post a link here: http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=31.0

You can also mention it on here when ever the need arises.... but don't go nuts!  :-))

Thanks for the link data. I was going to make a separate announcement once I had finished getting all the pages up, but that will be a few days yet - I have to make a few things and then take pictures... Then I will just leave it and see how many people download the plans. I have had a few people visit it, but no one has contacted me directly with any uploads. This might have something to do with the fact that I gave the wrong e-mail address on the contact line?

Tricky stuff, html....

Circlip, that's great! Many thanks for doing all that scanning. It will probably be the weekend before I get these pages up, but they will really improve the 'History' section...

Hi  what a great subject this has turned out to be, Dougie the K.K. handbook i quoted from is i think 1969 they did not always put the year on the cover. i worked out  the year that i built my Triton i was born in 1945 so would have been around 13-14yrs . Great picture of the old pond Phill there realy did used to be that many people on a Sunday morning,We did use to moan when your club use to take it over for straight running and thetherd speed (ONLY JOKING)  what year was the photo. Dave.

The picture was taken around 1952-53 and caused quite a stir (I was told, as I wasn't on the earth at that point). The transmitter had 60-80 volts worth of accumulators and the boat had nearly 50 volts, and of course all done with valves  :-))

Nice site DG. My first model was the Cresta when I was 7. I can still remember telling a school friend it was coming by post so it could have been from the mail order company mentioned earlier. The battery was a problem. Neither I nor my mother understood the dot so were looking for a 45v one.

Great story, Bee! What's worse, there WAS (indeed, still is) a 45v battery - I remember using one in a bulb flash unit around that era, and there are lots available if you Google them. They use them for VOMs and they are quite small batteries - you could easily have bought one by mistake....

The Cresta is likely to be the rarest of the EeZeBilt models - I don't think I have ever seen one on Ebay, and if one does come up it will probably be £50 +. There are Otters and Tritons selling at the moment, from someone who seems to have a stock of them, but they still cost a huge amount. If anyone buys an Otter (or any of the other boats I am missing) I would appreciate a scan of the die-cut parts......
