Hi Guys
hope this is posted in the correct section

Is there a place where I can get the domed radar covers (2) for type 42 destroyer. My build is 1/8th - Ft (96th??)
I'm new here - but have to say brilliant forum

Hi and welcome aboard.

I needed something similar for my current build, couldnt find anything anywhere.

In the end, I used cedar mothballs, mounted in a bit of plastic tube and finished with car body filler.

have a look at EMA model supplies in shepperton, the sell pre formed domes/ tubing/ modelling materials in various sizes/ materials

only downside is there is a minimum spend per order...however they do sell lots of useful stuff

I took down to Fleetscale a 1/96 type 42 dome that they can reproduce and make available along with a lot of my hull moulds
