A little more done these past couple of nights, started to put a coat of orange on the wheelhouse and made the window frames and front storage lockers....

Looking good now. Certainly makes a difference getting the orange paint on. Looking forward to getting my Ann Letitia Russell soon. Dave.  O0

It took me 18 months to build the Speedline Severn, bit of a challenge but I enjoyed every minute of it and it's still my favourite boat.
Yours is looking great and I look forward to watching your progress.

Thanks Brian
The build is going well but struggling to get hold of Adrian at Speedline for more parts, I am in need of the hull fendering and the aluminium t-section to progress/finish the hull....

Thanks

Hi Stubbsy

Motors will more than likely be Tornado Thumpers and the radio gear will be Jeti 2.4 Duplex as used in all my boats....

The wheelhouse has been sprayed with four coats of orange and five coats of lacquer, mast bases made and fixed and positioned the forward stowage hatches, the deck has been sprayed with textured spray and two coats of Rover Hurricane grey spray with three coats of matt lacquer to finish.

I have started to add the fendering, this was sourced from a local company to me and i think it looks more or less the correct profile...

Much easier to get hold of too I'll bet than 'other' sources!  %) You should name the supplier, I'd imagine there is a market for a reliable dealer.  O0 O0 O0

Just situated the window frames in place to see that they fit ok still, I will leave these out until nearer the end of the build though..

I hope you are going to put a cabin interior in this one. It would be a shame not to see one through all those windows.
Its looking great so far Russ, :-)) putting my Mersey to shame !! ;)

 Hi Russell,
Your build looks fantastic, I cant keep up with the speed of your work,
I notice you are keeping the windows out until later and the colour looks great.

What colour is it, and is it spray or brush?
