Has anyone built the precedent huntsman wooden kit? it looks like this kit would make a fast cabin cruiser with brushless motor, has
any of you great people ever made this kit and what did you think of it, I am really into retro cabin cruisers of the 60s and 70s you might say I am stuck in a time warp, just love making wooden boats,Ray :-)) :-))

I run mine on 1, 1500kv brushless motor and she really goes well
but I have limited her to 8.4v. If I put an 11.2 lipo in her
she would be too fast for me.

Hi Sparkey, the german Aeronaut wooden kits are very high quality and inexpensive and they are really worth a very close look. They are quite similar to the precedent kits but much better quality, fit and finish.

 Hi Ray.

Nowt wrong with classic cabin cruisers or wood boats, they`ve got "Character" its something the sleek modern jobs are missing.  There is a cabin cruiser in a OO7 film from the 60 which I spotted on German E-bay the model is by Hegi and the boat is called Jaguar.  I was fortunate enough to bag it.   In the film (which I have forgotten the name of) I think  the boat is called jacal.

I have upped a pic of it. In my classic collection I have Huntsman, swordsman, spearfish, spear, 28ft huntsman, and phantome.
I also have a Hanseat but have no historical data to check if its an actual craft or based on one yet I cant see precedent issue the huntsman and perkassa and then issue a "toy boat".

You will find all  your huntsman stuff here     http://www.faireyownersclub.co.uk/default.asp?content=theboats
