motor and esc problem

Im having problems with my esc I have connected the esc (bec) to the battery then connected the esc to the motor but I have no power to the motor how can this be please

check the plugs and connections, wiggle them around. If not check the voltage of the battery, if not that check you have the right battery polarity connected.

thank you I have tried most ways I think and all my joints are soldered I have put a tester on the motor connection and nothing would you suggest  the esc is duff  thanks

Has the ESC got a small slide switch and is it switched on?
Does the receiver operate the rudder or any servo?

And just check your not plugged into the battery socket on your Rx, trust me, it happens %)

call me thick thick thick I was lol well just a great big thank you guys I do appreciate it just on the up side Malta is 82 today and now thanks to you people (experts) im off out to have a beer in shorts n t shirt  ......once  again  THANK YOU!!!!!!
