What is she
« on: September 26, 2013, 07:38:16 pm »

I have asked before but have forgotton, I built her in 1978, from a kit. She is 50cms Long and about 18cms beam. Originally she was free running ( No cash for a Radio) on a Mabuchi 540 and a 6 volt battery. After many up-grades and mods she is now running a 380 Motor and 30mm prop. 2 channel Radio. Nice scale Speed, no spray rails and the turning circle is rather wide, but OK. So what is she? Has she got any value on the ol'timers market? Answers please on a ten pound note...

Just as an addition, the rear decking is my mod, covers the rudder servo and Rx.

She is definitely British, that is where the kit came from.

Very similar but not a "Kitty II"

She is definitely British, that is where the kit came from.

As I posted above (and previously back in 2010 when you originally asked) she is definitely an "Osprey" made from a kit supplied by Nor-Star Products, Rackheath, Norwich.
