seems to have an arial coming out of the deck just in front of the boats on deck in picture 3.....tony...grey and goes up the mast...I think it it a smashing boat

Hi all, there are 2 manufacturers of the Colin Archer kit at 1 : 40 scale  Billings and Robbe.  Difificult to tell them apart.  Clearly rc Perhaps someone can identify the radio Tx in the first photo?  If more than 2 channel would suggest prop has a motor.
Looks like a nice boat to me.

  Helps if you look at the all the pics .Was just about to go for a refund on my implants. Tiger  re motor fitting difficulty would this also apply to just replacing an existing one  if fitted and needed  replacing.  Have to wait and see how the bid goes  should imagine there are a few lurking in the shadows  but if too close to the Moonbeam ?  ;)

Replacing something already there should be straight forward, if you are changing like for like.

How Fiddly  derigging/rigging The CA for transport  the moonbeam seems pretty straight forward

Help anyone know if the Colin Archer Bow sprit withdraws easilyor can be removed .Apparently the mast   does not I might be in Deep Litter here <:(

Well picked her up this morning little 17 ml round trip . Went in the car   easily nothing removed . Albeit the  Top sail and  its mast were not fitted but that would not have   been a problem .
Problem  It aint got  the top mast sail yes but no  bit o stick  .wonder if Billings do spares?.
Yes she does have a prop and a motor well I can see a black iron  hoop with   a   lot of shiny copper wire on  roll the and the speed cotroller is a mechnical one and  Aaargh there is no Sailwinch . never has been I would think.There are  loads of  pulleys and  rope  tied off at various points. So steep learning curve for this kiddy comin up .Otherwise  she seems in good nick old I would say
 Thanks to everyone for their various inputs no doubt   I'll have several more questions  fore  long
