East Park Boat Pond Cleaning

This message goes out to the users of the boat pond at east park, we have a weed problem, so early sunday morning 7.30 ish kim ,myself, and spud, will be there cleaning it out any help would be very much appreciated, are you reading  this galleyboy, or anyone else out there, Pete

Thanks for all your help today Kim and for the coffee, also Tim nice waders, Neil no waders, young Tom Galley boy. and not so young Gordon, a big thankyou to you all, and as for weed killer , got home bumped into local councillor , he has asked to go and see the big cheese in the park, were not done yet. pete

                             ITS JUST A SHAME , IM THINKING OF SELLING MY BOAT,S AND GETTING A CAR OR HELI AGAIN, IT MAKES YOU WANT TO SPIT. HOW MUCH HAVE THEY SPENT ON THE PARK 6---7 MILLION,  AND ITS A BOMB SITE,  ANY CLUB NEAR TO HULL WILLING TO TAKE ON A COUPLE OF NEW MEMBER,S GIVE US A SHOUT, MUST HAVE WATER,  :-[ :-[ >:( :-\

Just to let people know it looks like weed killer is to put into the boat pond after all, we did get a thankyou for having a go, dont think they realised how bad the problem was,now i can get back to my subs, Pete

I echo Kimbo's comments Pete....Well done. If I'd known I would have popped some more painkillers and been down earlier to help but I least I did 'have a go' and will do again if needed. I've just put my order in with Mobile Marine for a BIG UN......One not made from firewood...See you all on Sunday...If she lets me out...The galleyboy
