I would certainly try here first, you are much less likely to get someone looking for a cheap deal to sell on. But if that doesn't work, you could try a model shop such as Howes, who sell second hand models. OK, they are a dealer, but you select them and model shop proprietors are less greedy than some of the hawks on e-bay (or they wouldn't be trying to make a living out of selling models!) . Plus the boat is going to end up in the hands of someone who wants to use it, not just make a few quid.
