Italeri Schnellboot Build (esc)!!
« on: July 18, 2012, 08:30:00 pm »

Hi guys, I am going to have bow to your superior knowledge on a subject that is quite new to me.
I am not new to the modelling scene, however I am a novice to electric power, so hopefully any response would have to be idiot proof (me) ;)
I am pesently building the above in another thread, however I find some the electric side of things difficult to understand. (Re: speed controllers)
My model wil lbe powered with 3 Brushed Tornado 400 motors, a 3600 Nihm, and the props are scale 30mm course pitched.
Radio gear is a Planet 2.4G 6 channel system left over from my model gliding days.
My questions are:
1) Can I use 1 ESC or do I have to use 3 seperate ones (one per motor)?
2) If 3 are required how would they have to be connected to the reciever?
Hopefully some one out there can help me with this!
Thanks in advance
Gregg

I used one esc and one battery to run three motors on my S-100 (www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=26290.0).

Regards.
