Yes, it is,. The photograph I used was scanned from a wartime book "The Royal Air force in Pictures" . It is also on Wikipaedia.

So in similar vein but not so well done , just paintwork I think. Must have given ex-RAF boys a skipped heat-beat if it came into sight while they were pottering along over Kent

That is a Pilatus P-2, I think it is the one used in the Indiana Jones and the last Crusade movie. They were designed in Switzerland in 1942 and first flew in 1945. One interesting point is that they used the undercarriage from the Messerschmitt Bf-109 turned 180 degrees, to retract inwards.......
