Bob- that´s it! And even if the club is hundreds of miles away and spreaded all over the world ;-)

You can meet more help and advice, likeminded modelers and lots of nice chats.....- in my case I have to say: Mustn`t be the club around the corner!

Sorry to hear about the problems some club members or intended members are having - can I just say that anyone who is able to get to the Goole Model Boat Club will be made very welcome regardless of age, style of boat or whatever.  We have members of all ages and we also have all types of boats from ready to sail plastic models to some very special ones made with loving tender care.  Our membership does include insurance which of course is really necessary - remembering that apart from physical damage caused by ramming another boat, there are other issues like problems which could be caused when transmitting a radio signal.   Our club pond is on a part of the site of the Waterways Museum - someone is usually sailing each Saturday afternoon although because members have key access to the secure site someone is likely to be there at other times during the week.   It would be nice to see any visitors from any part of the country/world - if you're in the area on holiday just pop in and say hello. Ask anyone in Goole where the Waterways Museum is but before getting there look for the two large round yellow rope guides on the right hand side just after the first speed bump.

I'm coming back to boats after 30years, carrying on a bit of a family tradition by bringing my sons into the world of RC modelling starting with boats.

I'd like give a public thankyou to Malcolm Frary for taking great care in making me feel very welcome recently at the Blackpool and Fylde club.

Are you anywhere near Northampton - we would make you welcome and feel included?
