OK back on line sorry had computer problems but should be ok now. With this time away i have being busy doing the painting and had a test run to see if everything works ok,i must say nice photos Bibo any way back to the job in hand. as i was not going to have this model as a lifeboat what colour to paint it ?
with a weeks research the colours were picked so here go's

with the hull painted up next the rubber tubs was the next thing to be painted

with this drying for a couple of days the deck and center consul was painted

so not your normal colour's but they do look right for the boat, so i will let this dry for a day or two then carry on painting

I believe that following the very informative thread relating to the relative opacity of black, combined with usage on a night of little or no moonlight, it was decided, following much consideration, and following much discussion with fellow members, to paint it LEGO coloured :-))

even the pilot gets a coat of paint

when all the painting is done the fun part to come is to weather it all down to a well used boat. With some of the paint work done a quick test to see if it works like it should

well it seems to be ok but not as fast as i would like it to be but that can be worked on, but this could wait a bit as i would like to take the boat to Alfold boat show
