Hi Martin, The boat kit that you very kindly donated got us off to a great start, That on its own raised £180.00.
Hope you are keeping well and it would be great to see you at the lake on the day. :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

Very Best Regards Dave.

Hi All, Just a quick update on how things are going for our Lifeboat fund raising day.
As you know the event will be held on the 19th August and as things stand it has gone beyond all expectations. Even today I had a phone call with Neil who you all know on this forum, Neil has very kindly offered to bring two of his model lifeboats down and allow the public an opportunity to take control for a quid ago weather permitting. Well I for one cannot thank Neil enough. Shortly after speaking to Neil I had a call from the local indoor fair who have kindly offered some free tickets to add to our growing list of raffle prizes .As things stand we have raised close on £700.00, and this is before we start on the day. On the day the main attraction will be a dinghy with two members of the lifeboat crew on board being towed around the lake by a model tug which will take place about 2pm, this tug tow has raised a lot of money in sponsorship alone. So I hope to see as many people around the lake as possible to show their support and appreciation to the life boat crew who after all volunteer to put their lives on the line to save others.

Very Best Regards Dave.
